Bug Botanist Recycling

We work hard to ensure that our products are family friendly. We also care deeply about transparency, which is why we’re providing this additional information about the recyclability of our products.

Our goal is to be 100% recyclable as soon as possible, but it’s going to take time to find the right combination of formulas and packaging to make that happen. Rest assured that we’ll NEVER sacrifice the quality or safety of our products. We hope you’ll join us on the journey!

Ant and Roach Remedy, Flying Bug Remedy, and Mosquito Repellent Spritz

Ant & Roach Remedy, Flying Bug Remedy, and Mosquito Repellent Spritz

Our White PET bottles are recyclable, as long as the black trigger/pump, cap, and label are removed first. Place the bottle in your plastic recycling or single-stream container.

The triggers and pumps include a small metal spring, and that pesky spring prevents the trigger from being recyclable. Remove the label before you recycle the bottle.

Mosquito Repellent Wipes

The cardboard box is recyclable! Toss this in your cardboard or single-stream container.

The wipes packaging is a multi-layer film which is not recyclable. Please dispose of the wipes pouch (and used wipes themselves) in the trash.

Fruit Fly Trap

The white HDPE container is recyclable. Please remove the label before recycling.

The jar lid and its label are not recyclable. Please dispose of the lid in the trash.

Always check with your municipal recycling center for location-specific instructions. Each municipality can have different expectations!
